Pursuing What We Love

After 37 years as owner of Wayne Parker’s Auto Electric in Salem, OR I sold my business. With the additional time available to pursue my new interest in fishing I began looking for good fishing tackle – the kind that would optimize my chances of being part of the 10% of fishermen that catch 90% of the fish.

Creating Something that Works

When I found that the majority of the fishing tackle available was not the quality I was looking for I started experimenting in building my own, using quality components.

As I developed my own tackle I had guides and local fishermen test my ideas for improvements. With positive feedback I decided to market my products in a new business – Good Day Fishing, Inc.
